Providence, Rhode Island-based artist and illustrator Rob Rey's award-winning paintings have garnered so much attention due to the emotion he conveys through each brush stroke. Rob's art has a very fluid tone and outwardly demonstrative voice. You can't help but notice them. He's able to capture the essence of what makes people human quite-well. I'd say it's both a gift and a skill, one that every artist strives for.
