Yang Tan: Koi

New York and Singapore-based photographer Yang Tan's beautiful images of these Koi have put me in a serene state. He manages to capture their vivid color and graceful movement perfectly in this photo series. The compositions are varied and all feel unique while simultaneously feeling like they're only parts of the greater whole. I've always been a fish lover. In fact, fish are the only "pets" I've ever owned. Yang's photos have me ready to purchase a 200 gallon tank just to attempt to capture the momentary beauty he's forever etched with this series.
