Sarah Allegra: Altered Reality

Sarah Allegra is an internationally published fine arts photographer and self portrait artist that sees the world in a mythic, symbolic way. She feels (correctly so IMHO) that things are rarely what they appear to be. Because of this her photos take on a purposely dream-like quality. Sarah suffers from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, an often misdiagnosed and misunderstood disease that can slowly rob the sufferer of his or her conscious life. The presence of the disease in her life effects her work both emotionally, and in her physical ability to create. There's currently no cure. If there's one positive to be taken from it it's that her photography has a very unique perspective to it. This perspective contributes to the mood and beauty of her work. Check some out below.
