The Wall Breakers

The Interviews Vol.3: Tommy London

In Vol.3 of the interview series, we sit down with Tommy London, the lead singer of the Lower East Side rock band, The Dirty Pearls. Even though The Wall Breakers is usually geared toward covering visual artists, as a singer and song writer, Tommy London faces the same creative walls we all do. We discuss how a simple idea or phrase can be made in to a song, how to keep the creative juices flowing in the studio, and using social networking to create and maintain a fan base. And, after you guys are done watching the interview, make sure to check out the music video I directed for the band using an Xbox Kinect!

I came by to check out the interviews. I really like this one. Very down to earth vibe from this guy. I love when he tells the story about the digital recorder. Inspiration pops up at the most random times and it's so important to capture an idea. Nice post, so professional but cool. lol

Thanks, Roni. Yeah, ever since doing this interview, I make sure I'm ready to write something down right awat when it pops in to my head!
