Facebook Makes Artist Millionaire

Yesterday, Facebook announced its $5 billion dollar offering, and a lot people collected BIG TIME. One of which was David Choe, who painted the murals in the facebook offices back in 2005 (that's Zuckerberg standing in front of one of Choe's most recent paintings). He elected to be paid his commission in facebook stock, which as of yesterday is worth around $200 million.

It is not known if Mr. Choe sold any of his stock prior to yesterdays public offering, but don't worry about him. He is already a well-known and very well-off artist with a couple books published, album covers for major artists, and a portrait of Obama that hangs in the White House, which you can see below:
