"You know you don't have to act with me, Steve. You don't have to say anything, and you don't have to do anything. Not a thing. Oh, maybe just whistle. You know how to whistle, don't you, Steve? You just put your lips together and... blow." - Lauren Bacall "To Have and Have Not"
Part One of our ongoing photo series: Portrait of a Dangerous Woman. We're allowing women to unleash their inner Femme Fatale. I collaborated with two awesome photographers: Justin Bernard and Chris Gurinsky. Justin also spent countless hours getting these photos to the point you see here now. I've always loved powerful, empowered femme fatale vixens. We however, don't want this series to be a copy of classic film noir. It's 2012 and it's important for the shots to feel modern, but still hold a lot of the classic beauty that Noir photography possesses. Justine was a great model to work with. Whiskey Park New York was a fantastic location to shoot in. There were alternating patterns of bright sunlight streaming in through the bar's many windows, as well as crevices and corners steeped with darkness. Take a look below!
