DUTYFY: The Network for Women Whose Personal and Work Life Matter to Them in Equal Measure

Posted on

Dutyfy is a network for women who want to make space for personal goals, such as motherhood, volunteering and philanthropy, alongside and in partnership with their career. The project is still in its early stages, but we’re sure that this is a concept that all of us Wall Breakers can get on board with. On the site, you can read articles about inspiration, child care, leadership, case studies, and many other subjects. In 2013 more and more women are not only choosing to work after having children, but due to a shrinking middle class and a difficult world economy, these women have to go back out to work.

Most of us realize that we’re not alone in this world, but having a strong hub that you can rely on to get parental and professional information as a mother is very important. Not everyone has a strong family and friend network, so the ladies at Dutyfy want you to know that you are not alone. If you’re a woman who’s already found a way to balance your work and personal life, you can also become a mentor to help pay it forward.  So start a conversation, and continue to challenge conventions. I believe that the more communication we have with each other as people, the greater our odds for living a successful, healthy, and happy life become. The Wall Breakers would like to say thank you to Dutyfy for continuing this trend of challenging the status quo. Check out the site and if you feel strongly, get involved!
