These beautiful photos were shot by the Mars rovers. I honestly originally thought they were fake (aka an artist's representation) because I didn't think anything so beautiful could be of a real photo of Mars. The lighting was too perfect. Then I remembered that the sun is the greatest photographic lighting source in the solar system, regardless of where in the solar system you happen to be. See for yourself!
