ShowYou has been around for a while, in fact it was voted by the Apple Store as the best social networking app of 2011, but last week it got an upgrade that makes it even more bad-ass. ShowYou is a custom video feed app for the iPad and iPhone that allows you to view all the newest videos posted by your friends on facebook and twitter, while also allowing you to follow others' videos through the app itself (including The Daily Show, Colbert, Funny or Die, TED, and a ton more). With its customizable grid, it is easily the best experience for viewing new videos without having to see any more damned farmville requests. (more…)

Avid has just released a brand new NLE editing system with frame-by-frame editing, a host of graphics and transitions, the ability to layer video and audio tracks... and it all takes place on your iPad. Avid Studio for the iPad costs $4.99 and is currently available at the iTunes store. I haven't tried it out yet, but it seems to have the user-friendliness of iMovie with all the additional tools needed by a professional. (more…)

iStopmotion is a new app for the iPad that makes creating stop motion movies easy for anyone. And I do mean anyone. This isn't an insult, but fact, a 4 year old could use this app to make their own Nightmare Before Christmas . It actually is really cool, though. Andrew Kramer and his team are masters of visual effects, and A couple of months ago, they used their talents to create an awesome app. Demon Cam uses awesome facial recognition algorithms to turn yourself and your friends in to some bad-ass evil-demon-monster-creatures right on your iPhone.
